There is a phrase in Chinese known as “食在广州”, essentially “eat in Guangzhou” that captures the notion that the best food in China is in Guangzhou. As the culinary capital of Cantonese cuisine, Guangzhou is known for its dim sum and street food. However, as a metropolis, Guangzhou also offers high-end options for other types of Chinese cuisine.
